⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “What a stunning production of Tell Me on a Sunday in Windermere. Katie Birtill had the audience spellbound!” Theatre Reviews
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Don Black’s classic Tell Me on a Sunday show charts the romantic misadventures of a young English girl, brimming with optimism in New York. She seeks success and love as she weaves her way through the maze of the city and her own anxieties and heartache, and begins to wonder whether she’s been looking for love in all the wrong places.
The iconic musical’s wonderful original score is performed live on stage by our six-piece band and features the chart-topping ‘Take That Look Off Your Face‘ and title track ‘Tell Me on A Sunday‘. The show has been performed over the years by many legendary musical theatre stars including Marti Webb, Sarah Brightman and more recently, Jodie Prenger. We are delighted to have Katie Birtill (last seen on our stage in By Jeeves) return to the Old Laundry to play the part of ‘The Girl’. For certain performances, The Girl will be played by Alice Imelda.
David Gilmore directs this fantastic production. David has directed 17 West End shows and his production of Grease recently complete an almost unbroken run of 20 years, touring globally.
Produced by arrangement with The Really Useful Group Ltd.
