We are extremely saddened to learn the news that our friend and trustee of the theatre, Alan Rickman has died at the age of 69. Alan was a great supporter of the theatre and a trustee since the Theatre opened in 1992 with regular visits to Bowness. It was always a delight and honour to welcome him to the Old Laundry. More tributes to follow, but in the meantime, enjoy this picture of Alan with some of the theatre staff for our production of Housewife 49 in 2013.
