PERMANENT FULL-TIME THEATRE BOX OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR
We are looking for someone with fantastic customer service to offer a friendly and professional ticket booking service to our visitors for all our theatre performances and events. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a customer service role, experience of greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner and resolving customer interactions with a calm and confident approach. Candidates much have excellent communication skills both written and verbally (on the phone and in person) when engaging with customers. Accurate keyboard skills are essential as you will be working in Microsoft packages (word and outlook) and our box office system Ticketsolve (full training given). Pay: We offer a competitive rate of pay dependent on experience to be discussed at the interview
PART-TIME THEATRE ASSISTANTS
We are looking for Theatre Assistants (must be age 18+) to work evenings at the Old Laundry Theatre. Shifts are ad hoc and on evenings of performances (dates can be found on www.oldlaundrytheatre.co.uk). A typical shift starts at 5.30 pm and might include selling ice creams, working on the theatre bar, serving meals in our bistro or seating customers. A meal is provided, as is uniform and there is often an opportunity to watch the theatre production. Shift finishing time is dependent on the show run time, but always by 10.30 pm at the latest. Full training will be given.
